    Generally my comment to other readers about new sites is to wait and see but for this one I would jump to recommend now, and a look at ulvika reinforced that early recommendation, the speed at which a site earns my recommendation is itself a quality signal and this one has earned mine quickly clearly.

    A piece that respected the reader by not over explaining the obvious, and a look at rivervendor continued that calibrated approach, finding the right level of explanation is one of the harder editorial calls and this site has clearly thought carefully about what readers will already know versus what they need help with consistently.

    Glad I stumbled across this post, the explanations actually make sense without needing background knowledge to follow along, and after a stop at sprucespark the same was true there, no assumptions about the reader just clear writing that anyone can understand from the first line right through to the end.
